Evolve FM is now Zenith. We’ve brought the product under our company name. Same software, same team — new name as of September 1, 2026.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026

Zenith Software Corp. (“Zenith”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian software company based in Victoria, BC. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, zenithsoftware.ca, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only. Information that customers store in the Zenith software is covered by their customer agreement, and the Synote app has its own policy.

Information we collect

  • When you contact us, book a demo or ask for pricing: your name, work email, phone number if you give it, company, and your message.
  • When you register for the video series: your name, work email, company, job title, whether you agreed to receive marketing emails and when, and which videos you open and how much of each you watch.
  • To confirm your email address: we email you a one-time code. We keep it for 15 minutes and store it in a form that cannot be read back.
  • Technical information: your IP address and browser details, which we use to protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse, for example by limiting repeated attempts.
  • Website analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. It uses cookies and similar technology. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
  • Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and how you use the page. It is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Your browser: the video page stores, in your own browser, which videos you have watched and a code that keeps your video access, so you don’t need to register twice. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions, prepare demos and quotes, and give you access to the video series.
  • To follow up with you about Zenith, for example to ask whether the videos answered your questions or whether you’d like a demo.
  • To understand which videos and pages are useful, and to improve them.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam and misuse.
  • To send marketing emails, such as product news, only if you agreed by ticking the box. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

We follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). If you don’t tick the marketing box, we may still reply to you about your own request, but we won’t add you to marketing emails.

To keep the video series for potential customers, we may decline registrations from competitors and from personal email addresses.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as needed:

  • our website hosting provider (GoDaddy);
  • Google, for analytics and reCAPTCHA;
  • Microsoft, for our business email.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Video registrations and viewing history: deleted automatically 24 months after your last visit to the video page.
  • Messages and demo or pricing requests: kept for as long as we need them for our business relationship with you, then deleted.
  • Email codes: 15 minutes.

How we protect it

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to your information is limited to Zenith staff who need it. Video access codes and email codes are stored in a form that cannot be read back. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time, or ask us to delete your video registration. Email us at iman@zenithsoftware.ca and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you have a concern we haven’t resolved, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
