A figure that nobody can reproduce is how a maintenance programme quietly stops being believed. So every report prints what it started from and what each filter removed, every dashboard section names what it deliberately excluded, and a figure that cannot be computed says why instead of printing a confident zero.

  • Computed live, cached never — a stale number with a confident face is worse than a slow one.
  • Exclusions named, not dropped — “3 cancelled work orders excluded”, “4 finished jobs had no estimate”.
  • Refusals you can act on — never “invalid”: a part to order, a certificate to renew, a step with no instruction, named.
  • One definition of everything — “open”, “overdue” and “available” mean the same on a report, a tile and the register page.

We publish our boundary

Every maintenance system has a line between what it does today and what it is going to do. Most leave you to find it in month four. Ours is written on the product's own screens and on every module page — because a demo that oversells costs far more than it wins.

The questions we get first

What does Zenith actually do?
It is the system of record for physical equipment and the work done to it: what you own, what is wrong with it, what gets done about that, what it consumed and what it cost. Twelve modules over one set of records — assets, work orders, service requests, preventive and predictive maintenance, parts and inventory, safety, contractors, reporting, scheduling, automation and integration.
Is it a CMMS or an EAM?
One product, and the difference is which questions you are asking of it. A CMMS question is “did the work get done, by whom, using what, and was it recorded properly?” An EAM question is “what do we own, what condition is it in, what did we decide about it, and when do we replace it?” We have a page for each, and there is one licence.
Is the French real, or is it the buttons only?
Real, and tested at the level that usually settles a bilingual shortlist: every hint, every empty state and every refusal message exists in en-CA and fr-CA, written as pairs rather than sent for translation afterwards. A small number of machine-generated strings still render in English inside the French interface — we know which ones and name them rather than waiting for you to find them.
What isn't built yet?
The runtime half — anything that must happen while nobody's browser is open. Scheduled workflow runs, SLA timers and escalation, email and SMS delivery, live connector transport, and durable storage with an audit history. Each module page names its own gaps in plain language. The Report Scheduler is the exception: it already runs unattended on your own server, because it always has.
Can we see it properly before committing?
Yes, and the useful version of that is not a scripted tour. Bring one machine, one procedure and one report you already have to produce, and we will set them up in front of you. If accessibility or bilingual capability is being scored, bring the person doing the scoring and let them try to break it while we watch.
Where are you, and who would we deal with?
Victoria, British Columbia. Small enough that you will be talking to the people who wrote the software, which is worth something when the question is “why does it do that?” rather than “can it do that?”.
